Guthrie Castle offers a romantic setting for your wedding day. The estate, set in 156 acres of beautiful natural surroundings, is offered on an exclusive-use basis to provide you and your guests with privacy and security.
One of Scotland’s most significant historic walled gardens is located on the castle grounds, dating back to 1614. It is beautifully sculpted in a horseshoe layout, with a unique “bridal aisle” running through the centre of the ancient yew topiary hedges.
As a venue for photography, the magnificent lawns, a private loch and 9-hole golf course offer great backdrops to capture your pictures.

As a private home, you will be greeted with a comforting family atmosphere on your arrival. The castle and estate lodges can be rented for your exclusive use, to give you the freedom of enjoying the beautiful surroundings and even play a little golf.

For larger weddings of over 60 guests, the Guthrie Castle Church is only two minutes walk from the castle

The purpose-built Guthrie Castle Pavilion is designed for both small and large weddings, with an adjustable main hall to suit any wedding party. Equipped with glimmering spotlights and heating, air conditioning, microphone and other extras – your guests will remain comfortable in any weather.

Glenborrodale Castle is set in the breathtaking Ardnamurchan peninsula with a surrounding of rugged coastline, white sandy beaches and ancient woodland.
Around 50 miles West of Fort William, the castle is set to a backdrop of Loch Sunart and the Morvern Hills. This is an inspirational landscape which includes the most Westerly point of mainland Great Britain.

There are 16 impressive and comfortable double, twin and state rooms in the castle. All rooms are en-suite and offer a great view. Many of the rooms retain original features. If additional accommodation is required, it is available across the Ardnamurchan Estate, with a varied range of houses and cottages in picturesque locations.
The reception rooms are characterful and include a paneled drawing room, a reading room with terrace, a billiard room, a formal dining room and a large and airy conservatory.

Glenborrodale Castle works on an exclusive-use and fully-catered basis with dinner, breakfast and a picnic lunch prepared by their experienced permanent kitchen team.
Booking is for a minimum of two nights and can be extended for full weeks if required.
