Traditional
This style of photography follows a very formal approach. There will be carefully posed images and a lot of direction from the photographer. This style of photography will work to a reasonably strict time-line, to ensure that all of the required shots are produced. This style of photography is less common these days, but still popular with some brides who prefer a very structured approach.
Contemporary
The contemporary style can be recognised by a great degree of informality and a more relaxed approach from your wedding photographer. The photos will be more spontaneous and can capture the fun of your wedding. Of course this can include posed photos as well, but to a much lesser degree than traditional wedding photography.
Reportage
As one of the most popular styles, this allows the photographer to take a “fly-on-the-wall” approach and record the events of your big day as they occur. The photographer will remain in the background so the guests are much less aware of their presence. This is so popular as it allows the greatest freedom of movement for the bride and groom, who are essentially left to enjoy their big day.
Fun
The fun approach is increasingly popular and is the best way to get your personality and character across in your wedding photographs. At Elad V.
